R4i – sdhc problem

UPDATE: syntax1981’s advice worked and now the card does as well. Basically, I needed to get the unofficial dstt kernal, instead of whatever crap i was trying to use. I got a nice R4i sdhc card so that I could play MP3 on a nintendo DS…. unfortunately the damn card doesn’t work. Dammit. It appears it is a copy of the card and hence is a fake. So be warned.
you need the kernal mate you can get them from r4i-sdhc.com thats where the official one is my one has a thurthore problem its a official r4i-sdhc but gives me a blank screen if loading and with no card gives me a no card error and with no menu files gives me no menu but it worked before i got mario and luigi bowsers inside story (U)
First you have the menu download SDHC something and if you downloaded, you should download a game and then out and then I can play but of the mine geblokeert because all R4i’s geblokeert and then you have a R4i Gold buy XD

you must put each folder individual on the card. Thi smena the folder must not be in a folder such as music. It needs to be the in the root area. Also another thing you need to is format the sd card to fat 32 then you must DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT drivers when going to the site which would be in the left

Hmm, well I have no idea. What does your card look like, or what is the name on it? Maybe it is a different brand.
@NicendFF I tried that and got the unofficial dstt software now, but it looks really crack and the game cant start, it freezes at the loading menu. Can you help please?

If you want your card to work, try DSTT software with the unofficial DSTT kernel. (Make sure you don’t use the real kernal).

and downloaded it,

Did you make sure it was the unofficial version, and not the official one. Since the card is probably fake, you need to use the unofficial software.
I clicked “download selected version” and sure enough, it downloaded into a winrar file. I copy and pasted that into the r4’s file, and it nothing happened, i still get the star wars icon. I also tried extracting the file into the r4’s file space, and got the same results. srry im being naggy, but if you can tell me what im doing wrong it would be a great help
I got the unofficial DSTT version and simply copy-pasted it onto the card.
I have the exact same problem as you (with the star wars logo and everything) and i need desperate help. What kernal did you download? and once downloaded, how to i add it to the fake r4sdhc?
its because its fake, r4 discontinued a while back now, they never made r4i or r4 sdhc, they are just ttds clones rebranded to r4 for a cheaper price, and never work like the original

Oh I forgot to mention the starwars game icon is there because the new nintendo firmware 1.4 blocks custom icons, so flash cards now use real game icons for the carts as a bypass.
All R4 SDHC cards are clones, the clone you have is using modified DSTT software. I can tell this by the red menu icon. You could try a unofficial and only unofficial dstt kernal over at filetrip . net. The real dstt kernal will destroy the cards bootstrap since the dstt team added anti clone code to the official software.
