@akavaram1 It won’t really take a day I don’t think. I downloaded it and it said 3 days but it was about 20 mins
my computer is really fasdt but when i download the kernal the download thing says it will take 1 day can someone help please!!!

Thanks for the guide. I bought mine from r4-ds-card, and though they were cheap, their download was only version v1.0, with no link to the source.
I have a regular r4i sdhc is there a way I could install the firmware and make it work?

Hi i have a dsi version 1.4u and brought this new one here. y DO I NEED TO update the firmware? can i just drop games in the root of my memroy stick ?
do i have to have a rom folders? where do i put the emulators like snes? do i need a kernel for that? LOL any help here would b great..

my stupid r4i gold v1.5 doesnt work when i put into my dsi it says star wars lethal alliance and when i click on it it just goes to a white screen and flashes once!!!! im frustrated >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

@zobya97 Update the firmware from the r4i website. download and just copy to the memory card

When I switch on my R4i the loading screen comes up then it says ‘System date error! Please check NDS system date.’ then it freezes up. How can I stop this from happening
I am planning on buying an R4i card for my DSi. It says that it works for firmware version 1.4, does that mean that if I update my DSi that my R4i card won’t work anymore?
