does download play work on the cloned r4 version 3? because when my brother tried to play mario kart ds, with download play, the game said error cannot provide download play or something. help please

I can only add 43 games even though i have a 8gb card. Do you know the problem?
will “work” with an 8GB MicroSD… but files over the 4GB mark will be corrupted… ANYTHING lower then 4GB is fine… 4GB, 2GB, 1GB, 512MB, and yes… 256MB and lower.

the R4 is DEAD DEAD DEAD… unless you just MUST have the simple easy menu of the R4 and DO NOT want true SDHC (all R4 knockoffs i have tested to date work only upto 4GB, after that they corrupt) then do not by R4XXXX(insert text here)… i.e. R4-III, R4SDHC, R4-Advance, etc etc… also Mars, ND1, U2DS… there are many many companies producing variations of the R4… R4 is DEAD… spend $6 on DX and get an Acekard2

First off, there is v3.05 Firmware. And for the dude who kept getting the loading screen, you SD Card can only be 4-8 Gigs. And you gotta have ALL the firmware.

I have now verified this card and other R4 knockoffs i have do NOT work over 4GB… it is fine upto that amount though.

You prolly have the wrong kernel. Def must use the one from the place on your box. There are just too many knockoffs out there… III, Advance, SDHC, ND1, Mars, N5, Revolution, NPlayer, etc etc etc
i have the same kind, but it wont start, it just keeps saying loading. that, or either i dont have the rite files. make a guide to set it up
The site listed on the box does not seem to work anymore! Any ideas where I can get the files from? At the moment I have a totally useless R4 III card!

goto the site listed on your box (r4dsl net). click english up top, then click downloads. find the language for you and download it. the archive has a folder in it… place the contents of the folder (not the folder) in the root of your sd card… that’s it.
