R4 SDHC Upgrade Clone Hands On Review/Preview Nintendo DS Flash Card

Here’s my hands on review/preview of a Clone R4 Card – “R4 SDHC Upgrade”. The firmware it uses is from the website www.r4i-sdhc.com/ and the latest version is v1.09b at the moment. In my hands on look, I test various games (new and old, 2005 – 2009) to show you the R4 SDHC in use. I bought mine from a store in the UK called www.r4cards.co.uk and it came wit a 4gb SDHC Mirco Memory Stick.
I have this and the original R4
but I hate the interface of this one because of the pointless movement of the icons and the menus are all shite – (text hard to read because there is too much going on in the backgrounds etc) so I had to make my own.
I wish I had the actual r4 sdhc, Would’ve been much better.

@Klemeron I think the R4 card, but there so much better cards out there now other then the R4, go on gbatemp (search it in google) it’s a great website for DS and cards.
What is it better: R4SDHC or R4?
@miguelit7 Yeah, I’d recommend getting a Acekard instead of a R4 clone though.

@venasuarmaster You should have the ” Micro SDHC Memory Card” which you should get when you buy the R4 Upgrade…
@haributo You can’t really change that I’ve tried lots of shit and nothing works for me becuse that is the ”Original version” and you can’t have an old version on the upgrade. But what you can do is if you want music and vids on you’re card go to the link down there and download the latest version of all ” v.20 I’ts the website that should be on the front of you’re package. Anyway press the USA download adress underneath where it sais ”R4i English V1.20b Date:[2010-4-6]”
@jhen23emo Just go to ”R4iMenu” then go to ”Skins” and then go in to one of the skins and just swift the pictures to what you want but make sure you have to name them what the current files are named, which should be BottomInit, BottomScreen and TScreen. I’d recommend an Acekard instead if you have problems with newer games, Deal xtreme due them cheap to any where world wide.

Almost all videos ive seen show either mario kart DS, Super mario 64 DS or New super mario Bros.
how come the games list on the r4 sdhc upgrade is slower and different compared to other r4s which has on the top screen the games and at the botton the pics im comfused and mabye starting to regret buyin the r4 sdhc upgrade cuz of the slow menus i might get r4 iii but im soo confused can somebody answer my question
when u downloaded the firmware was it r4i
my loading time is like 3 minutes and im using kingston 2gb memory can anyone help me . regards
I’ve got an Acekard 2.1 now which is only a little bit better.
You need to get your firmware from the site on your Cards box. Also,you may need to use Panasonic SD Formatter 2.0 before copy over firmware.

fakes usually are just worse in the chip quality..
A lot of the newer fakes now use seperate firmware…
but it works just like the original r4 card so im confused lol
