AceKard 2i – Update to DSi v1.4

AceKard 2i can now be used on DSi 1.4. DSi must be on 1.3 before updating. Update through the AceKard 2i firmware updater only. If you have already updated to 1.4 then you will need a DS or DSl. More info on the website. More info: www.scph35003.com

I have 2 dsi one’s on firmware 1.2 and the other is on 1.4. I used the 1.2 to updated my acekard to 1.4. Acekard boots up on the 1.4, but now the 1.2 dsi won’t recognize the acekard, the logo in the menu screen doesn’t even pop up. Anyone have this issue… where it works on 1.4 dsi, but not 1.2?
i cant do that cuz i cant see anything on the screen when i place the acekard :S it says error and turn the power off >< ive updated the dsi already

The 1.4 update is saved to the AceKard not the memory card so formatting/changing the memory card will not affect the 1.4 update. It will still work.

For example, i’ve updated my acekard into 1.4. And then i updated my dsi system into 1.4 too…Then, i remove my micro SD (not the acekard), and use it on the PC. And i want to format my SD card…Does the acekard 2i still update to 1.4 and works on the already installed 1.4 DSi system?

Yeah. For this, is recommended a DSi <= 1.3 FW, DS lite or DSphat
Hey, if I use my ds lite to update acekard2i and my dsi is already 1.4U and I use it on the dsi could it work?
I already updated my dsi a long time ago. I plan on buying an acekard 2i for me and my brother, so if i’ve already updated it what do I do now? Can I still update the acekard on my dsi or do I have to update it on a ds lite?

It depends on the region. 1.4E = Europe, 1.4J = Japan , 1.4u = USA

I used a DS lite to update my acekard 2i and I had no problems updating. Maybe it’s because of the HWID, Do you know your HWID? Mines is HWID 81
lol i have a black dsi too except mine has a dent in the right bottom corner. I dropped it onto the ground from 7 feet up onto cement tiles XD. Silly me

Are you using a DS phat to update? There are reports that say this update does not work with the phat’s.
it seems sort of annoying that is recognises it as a danny phantom game, but hey at least it works. Personally I’m still using a DS Lite (I’m too cheap for the DSi) so I have no firmware problems.
