Acekard 2i Review on DSi 1.3

August 1st, 2010 Filed Under Acekard 2i

*READ THE COMMENTS AND DISCRIPTION BEFORE ASKING STUFF THATS BEEN COVERED LIKE 6 TIMES, lol thanks* ——————————————– Sold ——————————————— My mini review of the new Acekard 2i, compatible with Nintendo DSi. All hardware used in this video in under Canadian region code, so some games/software may only run on a Canadian/USA DSi and/or Acekard 2i. Enjoy *For DSi with 1.4 update: Google search on how to patch the acekard with another DSi or DS lite so it appears to be a normal game* ————————————– *New roms/games that dont play properly probably have new piracy features in place. use akaio firmware or patches each game yoself*

@lnvaderGir If your DSi’s firmware is 1.3 right now, it will be fine. If you update your DSi to 1.4 however, you’ll need to run a patch on your acekard.

I have a question , I’m planing on getting an Acekard 2i and I have no experience with it so please forgive me if this is obvious. Once I get it do I have download like custom firmware or anything to make the Acekard work? My DSi is on 1.3. Thank you in advance.

@TheLuigiManFan Anywhere from 15-40, depending on the games

@HaHaLooLoo First of all, you’ll need a card like the acekard 2i and a bigger microSD card like 4GB. Then convert the movie file to a supported codec and compress it so it fits better. then use moonshell to view it

@megariku It needs to be a microSD card. MiniSD and regular SD will NOT work

@FUKATRUCKER No. Theres no way to get block on the ndslite. You can only get blocked if u upgrade the firmware on the ndsi
